Every plan works with your own AI key (BYOK). Paid plans also include managed AI conversations, so you don't need an AI provider account. Current prices are on the [pricing page](/pricing).

## Who bills you [#billing-provider]

* **Shopify App Store installs** are billed by Shopify in USD, monthly, on your Shopify invoice. See [Shopify billing](/docs/billing/shopify-billing).
* **Everyone else** (Magento, WooCommerce, PrestaShop, Generic and Shopify stores connected directly) pays ShopAssist by card or invoice in EUR, DKK or USD, monthly or yearly. See [invoices and VAT](/docs/billing/invoices-and-vat).

## Billing accounts and stores [#accounts]

A billing account belongs to your organization and covers one or more stores. Included conversations and limits are shared by the stores of the account. A Shopify App Store store always has its own billing account, because Shopify bills per shop.

## Free [#free]

Free needs your own AI key. Your AI provider bills you for the AI usage; ShopAssist charges nothing. Free has a monthly cap of 3,000 conversations and shows a small "Powered by ShopAssist" link in the widget.

## Enterprise [#enterprise]

Enterprise is an annual contract with custom limits, retention, invoiced billing, a negotiated DPA and a named support contact. [Contact sales](/contact).
