**Catalog → Locations** lists every location ShopAssist knows: stores, warehouses and pickup points from your platform, feeds or the dashboard.

## Visible to shoppers [#visibility]

Warehouses are hidden by default; physical stores are visible. Switch **Visible to shoppers** off for locations the assistant should never mention (for example a central warehouse). Hidden locations still count for "can I order it online?".

## Opening hours [#hours]

Each location shows where its hours come from:

| Badge | Meaning |
| ----------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `platform` | Read from your platform (for example PrestaShop stores or the Push API) |
| `metafield` | Shopify location metafield `custom.opening_hours` |
| `dashboard` | Entered in ShopAssist; never overwritten by syncs |
| `none` | Unknown: shoppers aren't told whether the store is open |

Open a location to edit its weekly hours and exceptions (holidays, special days). When your platform only has free text (for example "Mon–Fri 10–18"), the editor shows it as a starting point. The assistant uses the location's time zone to answer "is it open now?".

## Add a location [#add]

**Add location** creates a store or pickup point that your platform doesn't have. Give it an **external id** if a feed or CSV should reference it. Locations from your platform can't be deleted here; hide them instead.

## Banner: stores without hours [#missing-hours]

"Shoppers can't see opening hours for \{n} stores" appears when a visible physical store has no hours. Add them, or hide the store.
