> What to configure if you sell pharmacy, health, supplement or adult products with ShopAssist.

ShopAssist is not intended for special categories of personal data (such as health data) or for services directed at children. The [Acceptable Use Policy](/legal/aup) and the [DPA](/legal/dpa) say so.

If you sell pharmacy, medicine, supplement or adult products, the dashboard shows a notice. Then:

1. Add **blocked topics** under **Assistant → Guardrails** (for example dosage advice, diagnoses, medical conditions) so the assistant declines and offers a person. See [topics and competitors](/docs/guardrails/topics-and-competitors).
2. Write custom instructions that tell the assistant to refer health questions to a pharmacist or doctor.
3. Do not enable lead capture if you sell to children.

The assistant never asks for health information, government id numbers, payment card data or passwords. If a shopper offers them, it tells them not to share them in the chat, and card numbers are redacted before messages are stored.
