An organization can hold several stores, on any mix of platforms. Settings, knowledge and the widget are per store; members, API keys, webhooks and billing are per organization.

## One organization or several [#structure]

* **One organization per client** (recommended for agencies): the client owns their billing and data, and you are an admin or agent member. Use this when the client signs the DPA and pays.
* **Several stores in your organization**: you own billing for all stores. Invite each client as a [store-restricted](/docs/team/roles-and-permissions#store-restricted) member so they see only their store.

You can be a member of any number of organizations and switch between them in the dashboard.

## Billing [#billing]

Stores in one billing account share the included conversations and limits of the plan. Shopify App Store stores are always billed by Shopify per shop. See [plans](/docs/billing/plans#accounts).

## Analytics across stores [#analytics]

**Organization → Analytics** shows the totals of all stores with a per-store breakdown.

## Moving a store [#moving]

Moving a store between organizations is not self-service in v1. Disconnect it and connect it again in the other organization, or contact support.
