# Invitations

> Invite colleagues to your organization with a role and optional store restriction.

Owners and admins invite members under **Organization → Members → Invite**. You need a verified email address.

1. Enter the email address and choose a role (owner cannot be invited directly; promote an admin later).
2. Optionally restrict the membership to some stores.
3. ShopAssist emails an invitation link.

The invitee signs in or creates an account **with the invited email address** and accepts the invitation. An invitation for another address cannot be accepted.

## Limits [#limits]

* 20 invitations per organization per day, 3 per address per day.
* Invitation links expire; resend from the members list.
* You cannot grant more than you have: store-restricted admins cannot invite.

## Removing members [#removing]

Remove a member from the members list. Their access ends immediately on every open session.
