Use fast inference on Groq with ShopAssist through its OpenAI-compatible API.

Create a key

As of October 2026: open console.groq.com → API Keys → Create API Key and copy it. Upgrade to the developer tier for production limits.

Settings

  • Preset: Groq (base URL https://api.groq.com/openai/v1).
  • Model: a Groq model id with tool use.

This service may route requests to other providers in other countries. Check its data-processing terms.

Troubleshooting

  • rate_limited: the free tier's limits are low; upgrade or add a fallback.
  • tools_unsupported: not every model on Groq supports tool calling.
