Orders and identity
PrestaShop identity
How the PrestaShop module recognises signed-in customers per shop, and how guest accounts are handled.
Applies to: PrestaShopView as Markdown
The widget calls the module's identity controller (/module/shopassist/identity) with PrestaShop's static token, read at call time because it changes on login and logout. The module returns a token for the signed-in customer of the connected shop.
- Guest checkout accounts (
is_guest) get no token; they use guest order lookup. - With multistore, only orders of the connected shop are shown, even when a shop group shares customers or orders.
Guest lookup
Order reference and email, as in PrestaShop's own guest tracking.
