Knowledge gaps and demand
See which questions the assistant could not answer and which products shoppers asked for that are out of stock or not carried.
ShopAssist records insights on every plan. Your plan decides whether you can see them; when you upgrade, the history is already there.
Top questions
Analytics → Overview groups the first questions of the last 30 days into clusters by meaning and shows each cluster's label, count and share, with example conversations. Personal data is removed from the texts before clustering, and stores with fewer than 20 conversations in the period show no clusters.
Knowledge gaps
When the assistant cannot answer a question from your catalog and knowledge base, the question joins a gap with similar questions. Each night ShopAssist updates the gaps. Under Analytics → Insights (and Knowledge → Gaps) you can:
- Answer a gap: write an FAQ that the assistant uses from then on; see FAQs.
- Ignore a gap. Ignored gaps reopen if the question keeps coming back.

Demand signals
| Kind | Meaning |
|---|---|
out_of_stock | a shopper asked for a product you carry that is out of stock |
location_out_of_stock | the product is out of stock at the store location the shopper asked about |
not_carried | a shopper asked for something your catalog does not contain |
Each signal shows the product (or the requested phrase), the location, how often it was asked and when it was last seen. Similar "not carried" phrases are merged. Use them for purchasing and for back-in-stock alerts.
