This Acceptable Use Policy is part of the Terms of Service. It applies to everyone who uses ShopAssist through a Customer's account.
You must not use ShopAssist to
- sell or promote illegal goods or services;
- remove, hide or contradict the AI disclosure; use persona names or photographic avatars that suggest a human; or instruct the assistant to deny being an AI;
- impersonate people;
- target children or exploit vulnerabilities, or use manipulative or dark-pattern prompts and triggers, such as fake urgency or scarcity;
- collect special categories of personal data, payment card data, government identifiers or passwords through the chat;
- give medical, legal or financial advice without appropriate safeguards;
- make decisions listed as high-risk in Annex III of the EU AI Act, such as credit or buy-now-pay-later eligibility, employment or education scoring;
- send spam;
- attack the service, for example with prompt injection against other customers, scraping, reverse engineering, or load testing without our written consent;
- circumvent quotas or limits;
- deploy the widget on sites you do not operate, or resell the service without an agreement with us.
Enforcement
Depending on the severity, we may warn you, suspend the affected store or account, or terminate the Terms. Report abuse to abuse@coec.dk.
