Use Azure OpenAI with your own resource and deployment

Connect your Azure OpenAI resource. Use an EU Data Zone or EU regional deployment for EU processing.

Connect your resource

  1. Deploy a model

    In Azure AI Foundry, deploy a model in an EU Data Zone or an EU region.

  2. Copy the endpoint and key

    From your resource, copy the endpoint URL and a key.

  3. Paste them in ShopAssist

    In the dashboard open AI, choose Your own key, select Azure OpenAI, paste the endpoint and key, enter the deployment name and choose the base model.

  4. Test and activate

    ShopAssist runs a live test before the assistant uses the deployment.
