Why ShopAssist exists
Good shop staff answer questions, know what is in stock in which store and hand you to a colleague when needed. Most online stores cannot offer that around the clock, and most AI chat tools either lock you into one platform or one AI vendor. ShopAssist works with the platform you already use and the AI model you choose.
Our principles
- Truthful answers. Prices, stock and order details come from your store, not from the AI. The assistant always says it is an AI.
- EU first. Hosted in Germany, with EU processing for managed AI and a public list of sub-processors.
- Accessible. WCAG 2.2 AA is the target for the widget, the dashboard and this website.
- Your choice of AI. Managed EU models, or your own key with any major provider.
